Crosstown Solutions

We believe we are accountable to the communities we operate and live in. This approach strengthens relationships, and minds and helps support initiatives dear to us. At Crosstown Solutions, we aim to touch people’s lives positively and contribute to a better future. To achieve this, we consciously engage in fundraising, philanthropic work, and many give-back initiatives to practice our philanthropy principles.

All our team members love getting involved for the intangible benefits these initiatives offer. It makes them realize the feeling of being a part of the larger society and delivers a sense of satisfaction in influencing the world to make it a better place. These initiatives also foster camaraderie within our team members and make them humble, making our culture better. We believe such encouragement helps raise awareness.

Here are some of the organizations that we are associated with:

Crosstown Solutions

Triple J Farm:

Triple J Farm is a multi-generational black-owned establishment in Windsor, New York. The organization is focused on having a completely free and clean environment for their animals to thrive in. All their animals are locally grown and the company services all of NYC from farm to table. The company uses its resources to raise a standard for future generations.

NYCHA (New York City Housing Authority) Marcy Houses Community Toy Drive:

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented hardships for many New Yorkers, including NYCHA residents. In these trying times, access to food has been the most basic need that residents request help with. NYCHA, City agencies, non-profit partners, residents, and elected officials have been helping residents experiencing food insecurity with sponsored hot meals and grocery boxes throughout the city. We have joined hands with this initiative to further its mission.

Generations Nigeria

PROBLEM

More than half of Nigeria’s 7-9 million children between the ages of 5 to 17 are forced to put their innocence and childhood on hold and are put to work. Football, or American Soccer, is one of the few outlets Nigerian youth have to unwind from daily street hustle and obligations. With limited access to safe playing conditions, equipment, and even adequate hydration, they are further faced with risk during a time of leisure and play.

Crosstown Solutions

SOLUTION

Generations Nigeria is a field-building initiative dedicated to providing Nigerian boys and girls with a safe playing environment where they can thrive. Access to simple playing fields fulfills the basic right that all children are entitled to playtime.

FACTS

33% of open spaces are claimed by street gangs known as “Area Boys” who demand a fee for playtime

51% of Nigerian children are engaged in child labor

66% of Nigerian youth live in an urbanized environment with unsafe playing conditions

School Supply Drive

SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE

Crosstown Solutions had the pleasure to partner with a local business, Beautiful Blessed Blessings Inc, in organizing a community school supply drive.

Leveraging our community reach, we collected necessary items for students to ensure they have a successful school year! Through our combined efforts, we were able to supply hundreds of students with a back-to-school kit, including backpacks, notebooks, pens, and calculators.

Our commitment to efficient support of community welfare shines through in our support for the people who need it the most.
